82d Force Support Squadron

Want to make the most of your Sheppard experience?

When it comes to people programs, community support, and quality of life, there’s one organization on the base that handles it all — the 82d Force Support Squadron!

82 FSS was formed in 2009 through the merging of 82 SVS and 82 MSS. This combining of similar functional areas that already worked closely together created the Force Support structure, intended to streamline processes, maximize customer service, and cut the Air Force’s costs of maintaining separate organizations.

Force Support activities and programs are funded through your patronage. Every time you visit an activity, you help generate revenue for the base Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Fund. This pays for employee salaries, facility improvements, new equipment, and expanded programming. Besides, the Force Support Squadron uses the MWR fund to finance base-wide events.

So, support your Air Force Clubs, Bowling Centers, Youth Center, Child Development Center, Family Child Care program, Outdoor Recreation, Lodging, Community Programs, Trap, and Skeet Range, Driving Range, Information, Tickets & Travel and Sheppard Annex. Without your patronage, we cannot provide these services.
